Ron Clark (Claude) – Ron Clark is a Founder of Riverside Theatre. During his tenure with Riverside he acted in, directed or produced over 230 productions in his 34 year tenure, alongside his partner Jody Hovland. Favorite acting roles include the title role in King Lear, Willy Loman in Death of a Salesman, Toby Belch in Twelfth Night, Dennis Shepard in The Laramie Project, Joe Keller in All my Sons, and most recently, Frank Butley in Native Gardens. He has directed both classics – Much Ado About Nothing, Romeo and Juliet, Two Gentlemen Of Verona, and The Comedy of Errors – and contemporary works including A Walk in the Woods, The Diary of Anne Frank and The Exit Interview. Ron has written and produced four original scripts and now has a busy freelance career directing and acting. Ron is a proud member of Actors Equity Association, the union of professional actors and stage managers.
Saffron Henke (Kosa) – Saffron is the Director of Theatre and Head of Performance at Colorado State University. Saffron has performed and directed at many regional theatres, including the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Riverside Theatre, and the Furious Theatre Company, as well as numerous on camera credits. She was also an Associate Artist and acting company member for four seasons at the Sacramento Theatre Company, and served as Director of STC-2, a training conservatory. She has taught at the University of Southern California, the Center Theatre Group, and at A Noise Within Theatre, St. Ambrose University, the University of Iowa, and is the Artistic Director of ON THE BRINK Theatre Company, a company focused on doing site specific new work. Jessica Link (Viva) – Jessica Link has previously appeared with Crooked Path Theatre (We’ll Get Back to You; The Merry Wives of Windsor). She has worked with several theatres in the area including Riverside Theatre (POTUS: Or Behind Every Great Dumbass…; The Agitators; The Trip to Bountiful; The Complete Works of Jane Austen, Abridged; Uncle Vanya; Men on Boats; Circle Mirror Transformation) and at the Riverside Shakespeare Festival (The Winter’s Tale; Much Ado About Nothing), Theatre Cedar Rapids (A Doll’s House, Part 2; The Wizard of Oz; Ada and the Memory Engine; Doubt; Proof; Dance Nation), The Classics at Brucemore (Macbeth; The Grapes of Wrath; Antigone), Giving Tree Theater (A Streetcar Named Desire; The Elephant Man; Dial M for Murder), Mirrorbox Theatre (Drive), MVLCT (The Revolutionists), and SPT Theatre. Chris Okiishi (Todd) – Christopher Okiishi is a delighted to be returning to this character and to work again with this team. He is one-half of Crooked Path Theatre with his better half in life and art, Patrick Du Laney. During the day, he is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist at Meadowlark Psychiatric Services. Special thanks to Kristin and Rob for bringing us all along on this journey. With all this positive synergy, how can we not soar like falcons?
Aaron Pozdol (Glenn) – Aaron is awed by the chance to remount this show in a new venue, and to be brought back to play Glenn again both here AND abroad! He has been recently seen on the TCR, City Circle, and Mirrorbox stages and couldn’t be
happier with the opportunities he has been gifted. Thank you to my fellow cast for letting me play with you, Chris & Patrick for making this all happen, to Rob for his conceptual “360 vision”, and Kristin for taking a chance on a random Iowan amateur. Much love to his spouse, Carrie, and kids for their support, faith, and understanding.
Caroline Price (Connie) – Caroline is an Associate Professor of Theater at Cornell College where she directs and teaches performance. She is thrilled to be back onstage with Crooked Path after last season’s The Merry Wives of Windsor (Mistress Page) and the world premiere of Rob Bell’s We’ll Get Back to You where she originated the role of Connie. She cannot believe she gets to do this again!!! Caroline has performed locally with MVLCT (Celia/As You Like It), City Circle Theater (Black Stache/Peter and the StarCatcher), The Old Creamery (Darla/Tin Woman), Mirrorbox Theater (Dave/Eddie and Dave), and Riverside Theater (Goodman/Men on Boats). Creative Bios
Rob Bell (Playwright) Rob Bell is the New York Times Bestselling author of fourteen books and plays which have been translated into 25 languages. His visual art can be seen on Instagram @realrobbell, his band is HUMANS ON THE FLOOR, and his podcast is called The RobCast. Rob lives with his family in Ojai, California.
Kristin Hanggi (Director) is a theater, television, and film director, writer, and produced best known for directing and developing the international smash hit Rock of Ages, which received five Tony Award nominations, including Best Direction of a Musical. She has directed productions of Rock of Ages worldwide, including on Broadway and in the West End.
Kristin also developed, directed, and produced the acclaimed pop opera bare, which played to sold-out audiences in Los Angeles and Off-Broadway before going on to have hundreds of productions internationally.
In film and television, she directed Accidentally Brave, produced by Steven Soderbergh and based on the award-winning Off-Broadway solo show by Maddie Corman, which Hanggi also developed and directed. The film premieres on MAX and HBO in February. She also co-wrote a television adaptation of Accidentally Brave with Corman, currently in development with Ben Stiller’s Red Hour Films.
Kristin directed an episode of the Emmy-winning Netflix musical series Julie and the Phantoms. Her other film directing credits include Naomi & Ely’s No Kiss List, an adaptation of Rachel Cohn & David Levithan’s popular novel, which debuted in Netflix’s top ten. She also produced the film. Her feature directorial debut was Grantham & Rose, starring Tessa Thompson. Additionally, she co-wrote and directed the musical film Dear Dumb Diary, based on the bestselling book series, produced under Executive Producer Jerry Zucker for Walden Media.
Most recently, she directed and co-wrote It’s All Your Fault, Tyler Price!, a new musical about a family with a young daughter with epilepsy, created in collaboration with Emmy-winning composer Ben Decter in Los Angeles.
Her other stage productions include Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion at Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre, Pirate La Dee Da at Atlantic Theater Company (which won the Alliance Award for Best Family Show), Atlantis by composer Matthew Lee Robinson, Darling Grenadine at The Goodspeed, and Pussycat Dolls Live at the Roxy, which featured Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera, and Charlize Theron, among others. In 2020, Kristin published her poetry book God, Sex, Musical Theatre, which is now being adapted into an unconventional stage experience with music by Scottish singersongwriter
KT Tunstall.
Kristin holds a Master’s degree in Writing from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Theater from UCLA. She was honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award by UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and Television.

Kelly Shriver (Stage Manager) is thrilled to be Expanding Your Horizons™ with this team again! She recently stage managed The Thanksgiving Play at Theatre Cedar Rapids. Many thanks to her family for supporting her quixotism, including the ongoing Cherry Sisters obsession.
Sylvia Kocon (Assistant Stage Manager) is making her second debut with Crooked Path Theatre! She is currently studying at Cornell College and is majoring as a BA in Theatre with a concentration in Stage Management. She is absolutely electrified to be a part of We’ll Get Back To You and is so proud of everyone’s work put into the show. Her previous shows as Stage Manager include Pride & Prejudice, The Moors, Macbeth, and Hamlet. She would like to thank her parents, Monica and Shannon, for always being so supportive. Scott Olinger (Lighting) serves as the Head of Design and Production for the Cornell College Department of Theatre and Dance where he has worked since 2000. Recent designs include Pride and Prejudice for Crooked Path, Next to Normal, and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee for Revival Theatre Company, Christmas with Wartburg on IPTV, Ordinary Days at UNI, Cendrillon, Tosca and Cosi Fan Tutte for Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre, Rock of Ages and Sponegebob: The Musical for TCR, The Wild Party and Sondheim on Sondheim at City Circle, and Macbeth and The Moors at Cornell. Upcoming designs include Head Over Heels at Cornell College, and The Mystery of Edwin Drood at City Circle. He holds an MFA in Design from Penn State University and a BA in Theatre from the University of Northern Iowa. Scott also serves as lighting designer for the midwest band The Pork Tornadoes, and is the director of lighting for RGS Productions.
Kristen Olinger (Projection Design) is the Director of Design and Production at ICON Arts Academy in Iowa City. Her local work includes Video and Lighting Design for Theatre Cedar Rapids, Revival Theatre Company, Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre, Riverside theatre, and more. Her National credits include Lexington Children’s theatre, Triad Stage Company, North Carolina Stage company, The Clarence Brown Theatre, Jobsite Theatre and more. She would like to thank her husband and family for all the late nights and the endless love and support.
Abigail Mansfield Coleman (she/her) is a costume designer and lover of all things textiles. She is the Assistant Professor of Costume Design at the University of Idaho and she is so excited to be back for round 2 of We’ll Get Back to You. She has designed costumes for more than 70 theatrical productions from large musicals, to intimate new works. Some favorites include Into the Woods (three times!), Little Women, String, Anything Goes, Tuck Everlasting: The Musical (2018 KCACTF Region IV Faculty Costume Design Nomination), Exit the King (2017 KCACTF Region IV Faculty Costume Design nomination), Shrek: The Musical, Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, Henry V, As You Like It, Much Ado About Nothing, Hamlet and many more. Her work has taken her all the way to London, U.K, where she spent part of her summer in 2022 building costumes and large structural elements, and then walking in one of those costumes in Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Parade in partnership with Mahogany Carnival Designs. When not in production, you can find Abigail reading in her grandma-chic armchair, cooking new recipes with her partner, Kyle, in the air coaching University of Idaho’s Aerial Arts club, or performing across the Palouse with UIdaho’s Gem State Flyers.
